Tell Us What Is Going On
We discuss your symptoms, health history, previous injuries, daily activities, and what the problem is preventing you from doing.
Your first visit
Your first visit is about understanding why you came in, how the problem is affecting your life, and what options make sense for you. We begin with a conversation and examination before building a care plan.
The first appointment
Rather than repeating the same process across several sections, here is the simple version of what your first appointment is designed to accomplish.
We discuss your symptoms, health history, previous injuries, daily activities, and what the problem is preventing you from doing.
Your examination may include posture, range of motion, joint movement, muscle function, orthopedic testing, neurological screening, or other appropriate assessments.
Dr. Eric explains the findings and discusses whether chiropractic care, another service, additional evaluation, or a different direction makes sense.

You do not need to know which treatment you need before scheduling. Start with the problem. Our condition pages explain many of the concerns we commonly evaluate.

Common questions
Bring a current photo ID, insurance information when applicable, a list of medications, and any relevant imaging or reports you already have. Completing requested patient forms ahead of time can also help streamline your visit.
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move is helpful because your evaluation may include posture, range of motion, and movement-based testing.
That depends on your history, examination findings, and what is appropriate for your situation. The first priority is understanding the problem and determining the appropriate next step.
Not everyone needs imaging. Bring any relevant studies you already have. Additional imaging may be considered when the history or examination indicates it would be useful.
Visit our Online Forms page for patient paperwork and our Payment Options page for general payment and insurance information.
